He was in a position of power and authority over her. By virtue of his position, it is more than a consensual and inappropriate affair–it is at best a gross abuse of power.

Fact: Bill does not prohibit coverage to illegals

Fact: Dems refused amendment with provisions to prohibit coverage to illegals

If they won't prohibit it, and they want it, they don't have to explicitly spell it out in the bill--it will come out in the adminstration of the law.

That too is historical fact.

And if one of us had, we would have been arrested, dis-barred, fired, and lost any hopes of political aspirations. Your double-standard is amazing. Dems couldn't wear “No Bush” t-shirts to a rally for Bush, but it's OK to carry guns to an Obama rally. Really??? Sure, he apologized, but he apologized for the outburst, not the lie he perpetuated in the process. The facts support Pres. Obama's claims about illegal immigrants not being covered. I would feel much better about the apology if he apologized for the outburst AND for mis-representing the facts and wrongly calling our President a liar.

It is amazing how divided this country has become. I supported Obama's message of unifying America but now with the name calling, race baiting and Czars' words I've taken a closer look and have become disappointed with what I see. Obama is Bush on steroids and the two party system is one and the same. The media are water boys to their party and the truth is not the story. Truth seekers and people who question are lumped in with the WHITE angry OLD townhall people who are ALL terrorist, Hitler Swastika carrying Nazis. These are unifying words for our country? Where are the adults to bring responsible solutions for a country in crisis? Shame on Obama, his Czars and media for dividing US and using the poor blacks, Indians and minorities to hate the elderly and white race. Two wrongs don't make a right in America. Can we learn from our history? It appears government may want a race war and the elderly to blame with words and actions we hear and see. Why? Would they want to demonize a portion of our country when Obama won by unifying all races, gender and ages? What made him, the media and his people change? It's a bad repeated nightmare of seeing another Bush but only who is smarter and more confident. America are we in deep doodoo thinking we voted for a president who works for the people but instead works for bigger government? Our only hope maybe if America's eyes are open to how dangerous BIG government is for the freedom of all people.
