President Obama’s Message to America’s Schoolchildren

It isn't WHAT he said that was criticized, it was the OUTLINE sent to teachers BEFORE the speech that was criticized, then the speech was subsequently changed (for very good reason)!

I'm sure even the schoolchildren will support President Obama's health care plan as well as the plan is assuring of their health in the long run.

This may imply what all his opponents to the speech to the nation's schoolchildren may have been worried about...the root of all the socialist paranoia coming from the extreme right.

@BarackObama The citizens that protested the Presidents speech to the school children should be ashamed of them selves. In all my years I've only heard one such speech that should not have been delivered to school children. President Obama's was not one of them.
It's time for America to grow up and stop in-fighting. Education in this nation is so far behind the rest of the world it’s pathetic. We need everyone we can get to motivate our children. It’s time to stop the miss-education of American children. Stop teaching hate and suspicion and encourage all children to achieve their dream.
I hope that one day, in my lifetime, people will grow up and accept the fact that we are all in this together and we only go around once.
